*Edit: Tom Racine had me on his great Tall Tall Radio show to talk a little about PAX East. Listen to it here!*
I went to PAX East and it was fun!
Here’s my #1 tip: When walking around the show floor, if an exhibitor asks you if you want to play their game, you say YES!
There were too many times on the first day that I was shy and didn’t stop at every available station and regretted it later when it was more crowded. It’s much easier to play the indie games, as the triple A games all have enormous booths with long lines snaking around them. I did wait in one long line though, to play Blizzard’s Overwatch.
I got a pin! To go with my Hearthstone keychain I got 2 years ago. It was great fun. I was terrible at it, but our team won. First I played Zarya, the new tank lady they announced and never died (but didn’t get many kills in). Then I played Tracer and died a bunch, hah. But I had fun using her teleporting ability.
I played a lot of indie games and tweeted about my favorites.

Did any of you go to PAX East or any other PAX?
