11 years of living in New York, and I never understood women who freaked out about wearing heavier jackets and such. Honestly, women…it’s 12 degrees out. It’s ok. Yes…the outline of your shape is a little less feminine than usual, but trust me…we’re not really gawking at that point. We’re trying to make sure we don’t get frostbite. It’s ok. And heels on the ice? Is vanity worth a torn ACL? I don’t think so! Great strip.
I work outside for living, so trust me, even when the temp is 40 it will eventually bite into you. Looking like Mr. Staypuft is a very, and I mean a very small price to pay for not catching your death. Granted, I kinda look like him anyways, but that ain’t the point. Perhaps. Maybe. Hell if I know anymore.
You can still dress fashionably for the colder seasons, though! In fact, winter coats are one of the most chic items you can wear only in the biting cold.
Panel 1: Lisa looks at herself in the mirror. She's wearing a pretty outfit - a skirt and heels. she looks pleased with herself.
Panel 2: Lisa steps outside in her heels and pretty coat and stockings. It's cold! Brrr! Snow on the ground. Wind gusts. Not so pleased with herself anymore.
Panel 3: She dashes back in.
Panel 4:
Lisa is back outside in a heavy coat, pants, boots. So much for the pretty outfit. But she's happy.

From sexy, to comfy…
I walk into my office in my long coat, two purple scarves, pair of gloves and my Angry Birds hat every morning, and feel no shame.
Why yes, I DO live in Minnesota, why do you ask?
