   Turning off the Christmas tree lights is sad to me too but it’s truly depressing turning it off for the last time before taking it down.

     That’s where my friend, the pocket blowtorch, can help you out!

     But please, move the tree a safe distance from anything (else) flammable before playing One Eye with Mr Blowtorch…

   January 1st? One year during the 1st Gulf War in the 90s, my parents kept our tree up until April because they were at work all the time and didn’t have time to take it down. (They worked giving clothes, etc. to soldiers going to Iraq.)

   Hi, I really enjoy your strip.

   Christmas day actually marks the beginning of the Christmas Season, not the end. The Christmas Season lasts for 12 days and ends on the Feast of the Epiphany.

   It should stay up until January 5th or 6th. Christmas is 12 days…

   One thing I miss about the fake trees is the smell.
   One thing I DONT miss about real trees is the allergies.
