Maybe you and others asking them about games will encourage them to start carrying some. I’ve seen other comic stores start to do that.

But I think it can be a tough business. I can understand if they’re reluctant to start investing in the merchandise.

And yes, I was referencing Catan directly. But I’m glad to hear Big Bang Theory picked up on it!

I thought “sheep for wood” was a Catan reference, which would mean Big Bang Theory referenced Catan. O.o

Anyways, a few months ago I finally found what I thought looked like an FLGS, and was thrilled to death. Walked in, looked around. Hmm, comic books and comic book action figures, didn’t see any games. Asked an employee if they had Pathfinder. Employee starts looking around, asks me what series it’s from. I clarified with, “It’s a roleplaying game, like Dungeons and Dragons.” And the employee’s response was, “Oh, we don’t have anything like that.” Seriously!? What a waste. -.-

Poor little sheep. If those sheep were in Greece they’d either be dead of a heat stroke or sheered completely.
It was 94 (34 Celsius) degrees yesterday and I’m so close to civilization that there is a flock of sheep next to my home.
