↓ TranscriptPanel 1: At a Game Developer Panel.
Game Dev: And now we'll take questions from the audience. Little blue ewok, you're up first.
Bink: Thank you. I was wondering if you could comment on the game industry's portrayal of feline characters.
Panel 2:
Game dev: Do you mean "female?"
Bink: No sir. I mean feline. The dearth of non-housepet feline characters in modern games is appalling.
Panel 3: Game dev: Cats are stinky, anti-social hairballs.
Audience: Hear, hear! Kick the ewok out!
Panel 4:
Bink is flying through the air, having just been booted out of the panel room.
Little girl: Daddy! Can you take my picture with the flying blue ewok?
One sided argument but they should realize the game is based primarily around humanoids and not kitty critters.
… and that’s how the Ewoks joined The Empire.
With no Blizzcon this year, I guess he had to needle Devs from another company.
Ewoks are the brown bears in Star Wars not kittens…
I’m pretty sure he was kicked out for suggesting something like wanting more cats in video games. Not because they think the Ewok are a cat race.
Bink should have tried asking when Cathar are going to be a playable race.
Maybe Chloe will be clever enough to ask about that. /heh
for those that are unfamiliar with that race:

Bink and Chloe should just play Guild Wars 2 if they want non-housepet feline characters. They’re called the Charr and they’re pretty bad*ss.
The ancient game EverQuest has had cat people since the beginning, and cat people as player characters a few years aftter that. They’re called the vah’Shir and they’re pretty cool too.
