I feel this way when I do heroic’s, except I’m a tank, beating all 3 dps.
I hate my life sometimes.

@Matt – Yep. A friend of mine kept trying to figure out WHY I was out-dpsing everyone as a tank. Pointed out I only out-dps everyone when there is a group and they trigger my revenge alot more often. During a boss fight they get all smug and suddenly I’m out-dpsing them again and they cry.
I feel good or bad when I’m out-DPSing.
Good when I’m on my rogue in a non-situational fight and I manage to out-DPS people who are clearly better geared than me.
On the other hand, I feel bad when on my pally tank, in situational fight, out-DPSing others and hearing them them say they think I’m good/god.
No sir, I don’t like it. I don’t run a dps meter. As a tank, my smug moments come when the boss is downed and nobody is dead. Counting my dps as a measure of my success seems really silly. … for the tank. Or the raid leader, or the healer.
Of course, dps meters aren’t terribly necessary for the DPS peoples either. If you die, your dps will suck. If you don’t die, … does your precise DPS really matter?
If you are wiping to enrage timers than yes, otherwise not really. I do like them as a congrats you are doing a better job, your gear/reforging is working well. If it isn’t you can start looking for stuff to fix. I do like that part of it.
It takes around 30 iterations for space missions to lose all lustre.
That or trying the 40+ ones.
I got tired of them as soon as I hit level 50. While leveling, they’re an awesome source of XP and quite fun (I was a big Starfox 64 fan back in the N64 days), but at 50 they sort of lost all their charm for me. I wasn’t getting XP anymore, and the only reason to do them was to get Space Commendations to get better gear for my ship to … do the exact same missions I can already beat? It doesn’t help that there are only 4 or 5 types of missions and the later missions are all repeats of previous ones with the difficulty ramped up. Very fun while it lasted; blah once it stopped giving me benefits since I played them past when I got bored with them for the XP.
Trackball wireless mice. If it’s good enough for the SDF-1, then it’s good enough for everyone!

I just love seeing them play on the couch like that; the ergonomics comment killed me! We used to play on the couch, before we could afford desks (or a space big enough for desks). I even raided–with a stylus–on the couch xD
Hah, yeah, BF John plays on the couch, with his arm lifted way up on couch arm. It’s just not comfortable for me, so I play on the “dining table.” (Who am I kidding. It’s the game-and-piles-of-messes table.)
I’ve also started to enjoy the Cupcake Drama going on in the background. Looks like he burned down the castle this time

I feel worse for poor Sir Cupcake than I do for Lisa, lol. But then, I’ve never been one to brag or talk smack about DPS. I feel a better sense of accomplishment as a tank or healer, provided no one dies, hehe.
