   I react the same way when I’m programming. It feels exactly like magic. And I feel like the boundaries of the world just melt away. And when I encounter a tough problem I open a bottle of vodka and it’s solved by morning!

     Honestly it’s an amazing thing to pick up. I spent 4 16 hour days working on a program. The entire time I was drunk (not wasted of course). And the program worked flawlessly. I don’t think you can ask for a better job

     The language Python is a good place to start if you have interest in learning. It’s very simple (I.E. easy to read) but it’s still very powerful.

       hey , ya i know its awesome

       i already program a bit , since im doing a bachelor of comp science , but i tend to deviate away from it , this comic just motivated me to get back to my assignments lol

   Huh I guess this is my first comment on this comic. Anywho, yes Mary, comic artists covered in cat hair really pushes my buttons. XD Woo woo

   @Zakka idk I’m sure there are female programers who would feel like that. I don’t know if there are alot of them but I’m sure they exist somewhere. They might be more in love with themselves though unless you are famous for coding something.

    Hey! Just finished reading through the archives. Good stuff! And as someone who just started getting into programming myself (Java) I must say I enjoy Lisa’s enthusiasm, as it highly mirrors my own; seeing your programs come to life is VERY satisfying!

      I took a programming class in college and found it very time-consuming but extremely rewarding. I felt SO smart when I got my little Java training-wheels programs to work, hah. I even still have the book, now ancient, to remind me to play with it more if I ever get a chance.
