   This, right here, is why I love coding. Because she is completely right. The idea of magic is that you can say a few words and get some huge result. Coding is like that, the only difference being that you write a few words instead.

   Hiisss…. Actionscript 2! It burns us precious…

   Though I guess some ad services require it for older Flash Player compatibility.

   (I think too much about these things, but since Flash programming is my job, this series of strips have been AWESOME! Thanks, Mary!)

     Haha I knew someone would catch me using something a real developer wouldn’t use. But uh, yeah, the clients demanded it be compatible for older Flash players! Yeah!

     I and lots of animators actually work in Actionscript 2 documents because 3 seems to really slow down complicated animated scenes, at least on Macs. So I hiss at Actionscript 3 for my own selfish reasons.

    Neither of my feline friends sit on my laptop. My heated waterbed is much nicer.
