   it just always annoyed me that the good sheets wouldn’t work in Open Office I can’t justify buying Microsoft Office to improve my DPS through a spreadsheet.

     You can get a 60day MS office trial.
     Or you can try google docs or smartsheets.com both places do a pretty decent conversion from excel.

       Naw, what we need is someone truly clever with Excel to take the original spreadsheets and transliterate them into Open Office. And then tell the original authors “hey, if you do *this* instead, your spreadsheet imports into OpenOffice like a treat!

     You have obviously never played “Toon: the Cartoon Roleplaying Game”. One of the things you get points for is making the GM laugh so hard he falls out of his chair.

       I LOVED that game! The only game I’ve played where FAILING an intelligence check was a good thing.
