We’ve found something kind of different we both really like,though. They’re deck building games. I don’t have to make a financial investment in good cards because they come in a complete set(no booster packs that drain your wallet), the goal of the game is to have the best deck, and every person has a chance to get any card. We are starting off with Ascension. It has the fantasy look of Magic the Gathering, but is simple and quick.

After the last expansion the guilds just dwindled to nothing. Some went to Rift and some just disapppeared to another realm. I now have a WOW account and a RIFT account. Rift was fun to level, but finding a decent raiding guild at end of game is difficult. I’ve been thinking of getting some friends together to play cards or board games myself.
