   Hmm… A “closed” beta, or an “enclosed” beta. Or is there an evil Betta swimming around somewhere?

   I’d be real worries about going *inside* something with an AI. … and without a portal gun at hand.

   I don’t think I know any cat that sleeps on its back… but with Bink, it kind of makes sense.

     My cat sleeps in the sun, on his back, all four legs spread out Bink style. Kinda looks like road kill in the middle of the living room.

     I, too, have had cats that slept on their backs with legs up. It’s a sight to behold.

     I need a Poopal, and I don’t even own a cat anymore (can you really own a cat? They kind of own you in their minds.)

     My cat constantly sleeps on his back, front paws curled up under his chin, his tiny little kitty fangs peeking out.

     My cats don’t sleep on their backs, oddly enough. Bink just seems the type to do so though. Whenever I’ve seen my cats on their backs it’s usually mid-look-I’m-cute-roll.

     I want pictures of all these cats sleeping on their backs!

   Sort of related, but have you found it’s easier to get into closed betas as a girl? My husband and I have applied for the same Beta testing the last 5 years, and every time I’ve gotten in when he hasn’t.

   Also, I do dream frequently about MMORPGs. Since I always play a caster, I’m forever casting spells myself in my dreams. Then I saw the Xbox E3 demo, with Fable–it’s like they took the spellcasting straight from my dreams. O_o

     Oh weird! I never thought about that. I don’t think I’ve actually ever applied to get into a closed beta now that I think about it…. Anyone else have experience with this?

       Well, I be of the female body type and I’ve gotten into one closed beta (Anarchy Online ages ago) and gotten quite a few invites to others, but I didn’t have a gaming PC for a sad stretch there. I don’t know of any male friends who have been turned down for those same betas though.

         It just kills me that they’ll invite me and not him, then expect me to keep the game secret from him. We live in the same house, play in the same room. I’m not about to erect a tent over my desk just so he doesn’t see what I’m doing. They have to realize that this would happen. xD

   I remember when I got in on the beta for xbox live back in the day. I felt so special (although, they were probably letting people get beta invites left and right).
