Although oddly enough I’m going to miss the set. I live in Vancouver and see the set every other day on my travels. I’m wondering what’ll happen to that space

Your story Mary, reminds me of my housemates( my best friend and her husband).
When “Enterprise” first came on the air they were newlyweds. Every week as the credits came up, no matter where they were in the house, no matter what they were doing they would meet in front of the TV and dance to “Faith of the Heart”, then sit down next to each other and cuddle to watch the show.
When it went off the air, their tradition went with it, which for me as an observer and friend was rather sad.

Smallville when it first started was your average superhero show meets “Eerie, Indiana.” I liked the “wall of Weird”, I liked the trope of Clark saving Lana every week but she always thought it was someone else. I tired of it being too serious with the whole plotting and scheming of the Luthors. While it was an interesting take i always felt like it was wrong to have Lex Luthor there to start.

I do feel like they did way more with this show than with “Lois and Clark”. If my situation had been different i may have been able to casually enjoy Smallville all the way thru.

Anyway, the show has come a long way, and as much as the writing has been hit-or-miss in recent seasons, I can only appreciate how far they’ve come and how dedicated some of those people have been. Definitely catching the season finale tonight.
