Yes, people keep posting on Bertrum Thumbcat’s facebook page that most adult cats, especially polydactyls, are actually lactose intolerant. BUT it still makes for a fabulous commercial and marketing strategy.

My kitties wouldn’t drink milk if their lives depended on it. Chicken hearts….maaaaybe. My cats are rather boring–they don’t even like human food! And you can forget about feeding them wet food; they like their hard crunchies, which makes no sense to me. Except lettuce. One of my cats will eat lettuce. But then, his grandfather’s favorite snack to share with me was cherry tomatoes.

There was never a female regular among their ranks but whenever a woman would show interest it became some sort of fascinating study on who would come up with the nerdiest D&D-themed way to woo her. Oftentimes I think it was half-hearted and intended to be humorous, which it usually was, but sometimes I think the guys were hoping for a connection just like in that video.
