Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) officially released their new MMO this week, DC Universe Online. What do you think?

Also! This week’s comics have me wondering…..

*EDIT: For those picking “Not listed here,” let us know in the comments what these public places are! Er, please. :) *

Recap! You guys like Azumanga Daioh more than Yotsuba. But like one commenter suggested, I’m thinking that’s because Azumanga is so much more popular. Personally, I’m a Yotsuba girl myself. BUT! I’ve only seen the Azumanga series and haven’t read it all.

I’m not sure that DCUO will be something I play for years to come, but it will be fun for awhile. Like Aion.

  2. Karlendra

Between the BFF report by mike b and twimmi on gamebreaker.tv DUCuO has had too bad of reviews for me to think bout trying… Rift on the other hand I’ve snared.

  3. Annabee

I got a netbook for Christmas and have been doing my WoW fishing and cooking dailies (plus a little lowbie leveling) every day during lunch ^.^ I work at a school and sit in the middle of the cafeteria (best wifi signal) on my vibrantly pink netbook. Haven’t gotten any comments yet.

No reason to be ashamed of playing a game ;)

  4. Nurian

I play MMO’s at home simply because that’s where my strongest computer is. My laptops….well…let’s say Solitaire gives it a run for its money…

I only said Nope for the “Played in a Public Place” pole question because I just haven’t had a chance to, not because I don’t want to. Any public place I’ve been in that had internet access just didn’t have the Internet Umphf to be able to handle WoW. If it weren’t for that, I’d probably have toted my huge red laptop to work and played in the breakroom during lunch!

  6. Geckko

Why not play in public places? If a member of the general public has a problem with me doing that….. Weeeelll, it’s not my problem! :D

  7. Kazira

im confused… at the time of postin 72 ppl voted that they play outside, yet the number of ppl taking part in this poll are 154 :S

    • maryvarn

People can select multiple locations for the last poll. The number of votes is greater than the number of voters. I figured people probably have played in more than one location.

    • Kazira

D’oh! ok now i feel like an idiot :P that makes complete sense

Yes for public, if Internet kiosks count.

I was pretty hyped about DCUO, until I found we don’t get it until the 20th. And they expect us (Oceanic players) to pay more than the other territories for the “privilege” of laggy connections to the U.S or Europe… Quite frankly, they can bite me.

  9. Kit

I’ve played in airports, waiting for flights.

  10. Icesnake

In addition to fast food joints, I’ve played in airports. When you’re stuck in Salt Lake City because your outbound flight left the gate 15 minutes early and your inbound flight was 5 minutes late, and you have 8 hours to kill, what else can you do?

  11. Olania

Though I didn’t play WoW there, I did check the forums from San Antonio International Airport. I guess that could count as public transportation…

But I picked other, because I played while at an anime convention, while working in Convention Operations. :P

    • Olania

Oh I forgot – I also played at work a couple times (I work at a fast food place).

Though the last time I tried to do that, I forgot my authenticator… >.>

  12. RyanN

I’ve intentionally not installed WoW on my laptop, so therefore no playing in public. I’d probably regret it if I was stuck in an airport like Icesnake mentioned, but I’m not particularly worried.

  13. Beth

So tonight, I bought DCUO, after looking at the trailer and reading about it. I’m hoping it will be worth the purchase price.

    • maryvarn

You should let us know what you think!

  14. Pope Richard Corey

Personally, I prefer Azumanga Daioh to Yotsuba because High School is a lot closer to me — and I haven’t had time to get into Yotsuba since I learned of its existence! It’s not easy, not being a kid anymroe

  15. threepipeproblems

In public transport on my way to school/home :)

  16. zargoth

We used to host a guild meeting a in a game cafe :P so those that counts? :D

  17. Knoxx

I was one of the others: I’ve played at Work. :)

  18. Djorra

When I was much younger, we didn’t have a computer at our house and so I went to the library to play RuneScape. Life was simpler then…

  19. Ida

I hav play Wow at the Schools computer and in a restaurant in thaland
