I know Azumanga is winning by a long shot, but I have to say that it’s because it’s infinitely more popular. I knew of Azumanga way before I knew of Yotsuba&. Yotsuba is ridiculously adorable though, and I’ve laughed out loud way more at Yotsuba than Azumanga.
This is kind of like choosing between It’s A Wonderful Life and Miracle On 34th St. but I’m definitely on the Yotsuba&! side of the fence. I’ve enjoyed both a lot but I really like the story structure of Yotsuba vs. the daily comic strip format of Azumanga.
Yotsuba&! by far. Both are really great, but I give the edge to Yotsuba. I think it’s because Yotsuba reminds people of how amazing it is to appreciate the little things in life, which I wrote about here: http://www.mangatherapy.com/post/2728487184/youth-energy-yotsuba.

I would have said Yotsuba, but I haven’t read much Azumanga, so I wouldn’t really know…
