Panel 4: They sit in silence at their laptops.
Panel 5:
Lisa: Christmas shopping done! Let’s play WoW!
Mike: This isn’t as romantic as making mix CD’s, is it?
Well, my family always had us write a huge list. Twenty or so things, we’d maybe get three or four other things but it gave them an idea of what we’d like.
The point of the list is so that the person is sure to get you something you want but you don’t know what on the list it is so it’s still a surprise.
Of course that only works if you only get the person one present.
There’s only me, my mum and my dad in my family and we get each other just one present, which means we each only have to buy two presents in total which means we can afford to give GOOD presents.
Heh, reminds me of the wish lists I tend to write. Although my family doesn’t do much in the way of online shopping.
@Fuzzy: In my particular case, it’s still a surprise when you use lists because: 1. I’ve come to expect not to get everything on my list (or even want to get it all at once), and 2. I often get stuff I didn’t ask for, but find myself liking or using anyway.
There has been one major exception to the second rule so far. I like Guitar Hero/Band Hero, but only as a ‘party activity’ thing. So much for ‘quality over quantity.’
I think lists are awesome. You get exactly what you want with no fuss. I hate thinking of that special thing that the person didn’t think of. It’s stressful and I’d rather just get the shopping over with and have fun.
I wish real christmas shoping was that easy.
Lists? Meh! Never understood that. To me if it’s not a surprise what you’ll get you might have bought it yourself as well. That’s no gift.

anyone noticed that the laptops have cat face logos? Chloe and Bink finally conquered apple?
Man now I have a desire to get me a Chloe Book Pro
LOL. I wonder if I can get some kind of laptop decal stickers made.
That would be sweet if it lines up with the apple and lights her face. Cool
My christmas shopping was even easier. My entire family (except for my mother) plays WoW. They all wanted the new pets for sale in Blizzard’s store.
One-stop shopping, it’s so groovy.
Hehe, there will some of that going on in my family this Christmas too!
This is essentially how my Fiancee and I shopped…with a bit more secrecy. YAY FOR AMAZON.COM!
I have the new Dominion set on my list too. Love that game! Almost as much as WoW.
i go to the store i don’t know about you but if i can’t find something i then consult eBay
Was his head always that blocky?

I got my own present. Dollzone Limited Asura. Best. Present. Ever.
Wow they aren’t cheap to buy for!
