I am 2 levels away from 85 on my first and only character anywhere near that high. My DK. I haven’t gotten much done in the game as I have played on and off since Classic’s launch and never got over level 30 or so until sometime into LK and even then I wasn’t 80 until several months ago. So just as I got used to endgame they add a new expansion.

My playing on and off usually resulted in money issues or loss of interest for a while. Mainly the latter though. I am hoping to keep my current playing streak going till I have several 85s.

Have fun! I’ll admit, I was tempted to start playing again, but I just can’t bring myself to grind again despite how different the world may be now. Besides, it’s been 10-11 months since I last played, so all that awesome gear I had on my Orc Rogue is probably crap now anyway, LOL.

Our server (Malygos) had an XP glitch when it came up for Cata – no one was getting XP for the first 20 minutes. I also could not log in for 25 minutes, but there was no “queue,” just couldn’t get on. I’m one bubble from 85 now, but I didn’t try too hard to get there. This xpac has been extremely easy to level to max from 80. I remember 70 to 80 being much more time consuming and difficult. My boyfriend got to 85 in 24 hours, give or take.

Goals for Cata? Same as Wrath – clear content, get drakes, collect pets, collect mounts. Probably have to go back and get 25 Heroic LK, that will bother me if I don’t. Other goals for Cata – don’t raid 7x a week (Blizz fixed that for me by screwing up lockouts) and spend more time OUT of game.

Took me 5-10 minutes to log on when everything went live. The funny/sad part was the mob waiting to get trained for the flying. A guildmate was said the fps, by the trainer in SW, was around 10 due to the mob and spammed AOEs. I simply went out to Dalarn and trained. =D Later I got frustrated as I wasn’t gaining any exp and opened a ticket. Hours later my cousin asked if I had my exp turned off. Quick visit to the stealthed guy in the SW BG room and all was fixed. Quite embarassing. Oh! Love the new guild features and your own little character page on the WoW website.

My realm population must have gotten lower since the Wrath launch. I had no queue last night, and while there was competition for mobs, it wasn’t too crazy.

Probably both.. but then, he has 5 raiding 80s and I barely got two toons to max-level before giving up on their lame service down here, so I don’t really sympathise. “6 dc’s in 20 minutes, you say.. meh, Pogo Zombie just ate my Torchwood, we’ve all got problems..”
