Me and one of my friends let the server tick down standing on the dock at Auberdine, our final salute to one of our favourite zones. After taking nearly all my alliance characters through Darkshore (and there's been quite a few over the years) the new quests there were some of the most heartbreaking I've ever experienced, amazingly written, but very hard to come to terms with if you knew the npcs. I've had Loremaster for nearly two years now, but I'm working my way through all the zones again for fun (and hysterical laughter in the case of Redridge!).

Last thing I did was go to my favorite place in all of Azeroth, the top of Ironforge (Yes i know I am not *allowed* to go there) to take some pictures. I took time to admire the time and effort the programmers put into the game to make it as beautiful as it is. I took screenshots of the little dwarf settlement that you fly over each time you are flying into IF and out of IF. Made a screenshot of the crashed plane on the side of the mountain. Danced on the summit, waved goodbye to the ice trolls as they were fighting the dwarves at the airport...
Only to find all those places still remain after the shattering.

Yeah, I just read the shattering and I was hoping to see something about Cairne in game, but nithing I could find in TB. BTW, Taurens don't bury their dead, they cremate them in a very stoic and honorary ceremony. I strongly dislike Garrosh.

Last thing: run through every alt I had touched in the last 3 months, finishing off any Cataclysm event quests. I loathe abandoning quests uncompleted.

First thing: run around stormwind surveying the damage.
Second thing: See if Archaeology was trainable yet.

Hahaha, the last things I did were somewhat simliar to yours Mary. I just finished Lore Master in Kalimdor a couple of weeks ago and then finished the Elemental invasion in Thunder Bluff. First thing I did was head to Orgimmar to see the new city... it was really akward at first and I got lost several times (it felt like my first time in Darnassus) and then I explored a couple of regions in Kalimdor. Though, tbh, I was hoping to see more of and event than just a bunch of changes to the maps.

Three Words - Night Elf Mage ... I have waited 6 years for this, this was why I bought World of Warcraft... I wanted to play a Night Elf Mage, and I was disappoint when I found out 6 years ago I couldn't. Sure, I like the other characters I've played over the years, but after the Shattering the 1st thing I did was roll up a Night Elf Mage!
