Actually this makes me think of the four stages of rampancy of an AI : Melancholia, Anger, Jealousy and Metastability.

Poor Lisa. I’d feel bad for her but I’m too busy wishing I could just pick up Chloe for a huge hug.
Wish I could say I knew how being /gkicked felt, but if I find that I don’t mesh well with a guild, I leave on my own.
Of course, there was that one coup de tat gone horribly wrong… That was a bad night.
I’d be inclined to show some sympathy for Lisa, but considering how she acted in the last comic, I feel laughing at her conceited -ss far more appropriate.

Isn’t there supposed to be a “bargaining” stage in there somewhere? (Please…I was kidding about charging for strategy info…and I’ll quit gloating about the DPS meter..and, and…pretty please, I’ll be a better guildie if you guys just take me BAAAAACK.)
In the Kübler-Ross model, bargaining comes before grief/depression, but this web comic has a limited budget, and ran out of panels…

Agree, there usually is a bargining stage where you jump up the chain of command and beg your guild leader to take your back, who will inevitably get a splitting migrane from listening to both sides abusing him/her.
I am however totally on board with your mind shutting down and you are reduced to talking like the Aliens from Red vs Blue. Blarg is a state of mind, embarace your inner blarg.
P.S. Guild breakups are probably the most emotialally damaging thing that could happen to a person in game. We feel your pain!
You’re right, there is a bargaining stage! I didn’t know about it until I researched (and by researched I mean quickly googled and skimmed a page or two) the stages of loss. There are 5!
I left that one out for simplicity sake, but I like the idea of Lisa bargaining with the guild.
And I wanted my own stage 5.
There’s been a lot of calls for Jenny and the other characters recently, and all I can say is, don’t worry! I have the next two weeks of comics done after this week. I don’t want to spoil anything, but I *think* you’ll be pleased.

Hmm, I think it’s safe to say that I won’t be in any position to be gloating about my dps. Ret paladins aren’t known for that… the developers won’t let that happen to avoid a storm of QQ.
