Hey Mary, great idea to get this campaign out there through your site. After the last one and based on your own intention to do so, I bought the Diaspora rule book, read it, and I’ll definitely use it for the next sci-fi game I run. (That’s a least one sale from her posting, Brad!)

For this week, I’ll see if I can get ‘caught’ reading the Supernatural RPG core book (based on the TV series), as that’s the next game my group wants me to run.

I don’t think a WoW lore book or a Pokemon Strategy guide EXACTLY count, since I think the idea is shine a light on RPG playing specifically. But those are definitely the next best thing, so do it!

Thanks for commenting, Brad! Our DnD group is on hiatus and we want to try some new RPGs when we get back together. I’m hoping we’ll give Diaspora a try! I’ll write about our experience if we do.

This week I will be starting a new D&D 4.0 game as Misery (Teifling Warlord), possibly running a one shot D&D 3.5 game, and doing my weekly World of Darkness: Changing Breeds ( I play Gunn were-rhino defender of all!). At least once this week I will be caught out and about with a corebook to one of these games, because I have so much exp to spend.

Well I read WoW Lore books in public all the time, does that count? Although I’ve already read “The Rise of the Lich King” by Christie Golden at least three times, she’s an awesome writer!
