Hi

Mary - sorry I forgot to provide the translations. We had three different texts - all in combination with "borrow an iPad at the university library. The strip where Chloe and Bink sits on iPads with the additional text "but don't sit on it", the strip where they tile the floor, with the text "we don't have that many", and the turttle toes strips with the text "taste for yourself".

A couple of friends and myself had loads of fun with yahoo babelfish translator once. Our favorite game had a downtime, and the German error message was kinda clunky. So we took the English one, trying to find if they used that translator. One thing lead to the other, and before long, we were translating stuff to Korean and back, which always adds nice flavor to it (I think it was my idea... I did remember something I learned in a basics of law seminar at my university). Did you know that MIDI (media format) doesn't get translated into Korean, but it does become "Southern France" when translated back? Good times, good times.
Oh, and if you ever need or want German translations of your comics, I'd love to try my hand at these. Myself, that is, not using a robot translator.

If I ever start into translating, it'll definitely be without Google translation. I already don't trust film and game translations (they are most of the time very inaccurate) made by real people, there is no way I'm gonna use an automatic translator.
Would you like to publish my translations if I do them ?

Thanks for the Danish to English translations! I didn't know what it meant.....it's funny! :)

@MatthTheGeek: I have transcripts up for most comics at the top of the column to the left - maybe that would help in translating for her?
I installed a toolbar on the site that has a little "translate" widget, but I'm having trouble getting the toolbar to show up. You could try using Google translation...
Although I should warn that a French-speaking friend of mine was over the other day and saw the french translation of the latest comic and said it was a little wonky. I guess robot translation always is.
