I’m a nurse, and all my coworkers think I’m super weird/scary for collecting knives/swods/other pointy instruments and playing GW and WoW. :( *sigh* They all are a lot older than me.
My friends all think I’m crazy too…lol. Good thing my bestie from highschool is super into WoW, and we quest together sometimes when she’s not raiding. My b/f and I play GW together.
It’s awesome being a geek/nerd. I wouldn’t want it any other way. >^.^<

Imagine my delight when I heard the other group talking about their upcoming raid! We spent the next few minutes comparing notes on progression, swapping server names, etc. It was great!

Their whole group played! Every time we’d see each other that weekend, we’d yell out “For the Horde!” and geek out.

I’ve been playing since beta, the husband has been playing for three years, and none of our neighbors understand. Oh well, they’re just not cool.

I have a RL friend (highschool age) who will not talk about his WoW addiction with any nonplaying friends – he thinks it will hurt his cool image :P I sure am glad I’m way past that stage of my life! But I do wonder: are you automatically uncool if you love a video game?
