     In any Star Trek episode, if you saw an unnamed character in a red shirt, it was pretty much guaranteed that he was going to die.

   On every landing party where there is a death, the red shirts are the ones to die. Seems like every single time.

   Its because they send down to the planet 3-4 main cast (in yellow and blue) and one or two guys in red who you have NEVER seen before on the ship. You can then guess how many people will die on these missions. (Clue: 99% of the time it is the number of unknown guys in red shirts).

   I liked that this was even in the Star Trek movie, when they parachute onto the big laser thingy.

   Survive by shooting the captain first? nay, the only, and I mean ONLY, way you can survive in Star Trek while wearing a red shirt is if you’re Scotty. He is the one person who is cool enough to survive in that outfit! I’m sorry “Ensign” Jenny, but you are doomed!

   Also, your new art really looks good, the only thing I think could use work is Jenny’s face in panel two, although I think you intended her to look that way because of the outfit.

    I went to buy STO last night only to realize that my ancient laptop’s graphics card probably wasn’t up to the task of rendering all of that sweet futuristic infinitive splitting action. Serious bummer.

    The only way to be immune against the curse of the red uniform is either to have lieutenant-commander stripes like Scotty or a dress with lieutenant stripes like Uhura.

    I am really liking the new art! I have just discovered your comic and I’ve been catching up the past week or so. The full body shot of Lisa is really great, this is the kind of stuff I wish I could draw!!!
