Panel 2: We see an iChat exchange between Jenny and Lisa.
Jenny (through chat): Oh just checking the exchange.
Lisa: Exchange?
Jenny: Auction house! I mean Auction house. Gotta go!
Panel 3: Mike is in the foreground and Lisa approaches in the background.
Lisa (hands on hips, puzzled): That's weird. Jenny just called the auction house the "exchange." What's that about?
Mike (very serious): This can only mean one thing.
Panel 4: Mike grabs Lisa by the shoulders. The room is darkly lit, reminiscent of noir films. Light from a window is cast on the wall.
Mike (to Lisa): Lisa, I think Jenny defected to Star Trek Online.
Lisa (hand on forehead in distress): No!!!

Star Trek Online is the promised land. I’ve been playing for 5 weeks and haven’t once felt I was grinding just to get a level. Great comic, Mary!
probably because it wouldn’t new games always seem like that. You play to a certain extent before you realize it. Your probably questing also.

Of course, a cheeseburger on a string would be pretty good for me… As long as it’s got no red onions and extra pickles. Wait, what were we talking about again?

Also, I like the change in style for this strip, panel 3 and 4 almost look like a scene from a movie or something! xD

Interesting style. Light/shadow quality is great, but lisa’s face seems a little wonky in frame’s 1 and 3.
Better I suppose than losing someone to guild wars or EQII. ;-p
Forget Star Trek Online, Star Wars The Old Republic is gonna take a good bit of people when it releases.

ok i haven’t tried STO but i did use to play EVE Online. it was pretty cool till i realized id have to play for 3 more years before i can actually start having fun. good luck with STO guys if it works for u… but i like the effect people get when my mage walks in and pwns some deserving horde in 1 shot.
