Lisa: Um...
Chloe (eyes closed, hands out, in zen-like trance): No it's "Um", it's "Ommm."
Bink (pointing with one arm, gesturing to self with the other, back arched inward.): Reach into your shadowy soul and unleash your Vampiric Touch on that snake.
Chloe (zen-like trance): Ommm..
Lisa: Now they're verbally abusing me for meleeing the snake. You said this would be gentle!
Bink (paws on hips): Vampiric Touch doesn't mean you actually touch him! It has a 30 yard range!
Chloe (zen-like trance): Ommm...

Haha. I love Chloe’s ommm. I think the kitties are being too optimistic. I don’t think Lisa’s ready at all to play the shadow priest with actual people. Maybe she should go practice on some mob instead. On a related note, it appears 50 chicken hearts was too cheap for these lessons.
Hehe, reminded me of the times when I played my mage after warrior and rogue and forgot that I could and should keep the distance in pvp
That “ommm…” is going to become om nom nom when they get those chicken hearts
Isnt it a 36 yard range? Unless Lisa is incorrectly specced, then it’s even worse than we thought.

Also, I have to agree with Caylynn about Chloe’s “Ohmmmm”, that is only described by a term I heard just yesterday (ironically, while tanking Gundrak). Epicute.
And I think Lisa would do well with a warrior char, They aren’t too hard to learn, hell, when I tank, all I do is roll my face on the keyboard while hitting the tab key as fast as I can! And if you don’t believe me, then I’ll pull up a pick with the entire QWERTY style keyboard letter ruboffs on my forehead…well, except for the P key, that one hasn’t worn off yet… BUT SOON!
Also, I know I say this a lot, but it gets more true as time goes by: nice artwork, it’s really improved since just a few months ago!

And I really do appreciate the kind words about the art, because I really am trying to improve and I’m so glad it’s paying off.
Maybe Chloe and Bink aren’t the best Shadow Priest teachers, not making sure that Lisa is correctly talented/glyphed. They probably just looked up the base range for Vampiric Touch on Wowhead, like a certain cartoonist.

I’m trying very, very hard to not be the one to make a comment about “touching the snake.” I really, really am.
I love how Bink gets into his Gunney Sgt R. Lee Ermey mode when givng instructions. And Chloe just “Ommmm”ing away.
