OMG LOL!! I love this. The detail of it all in the second panel is just really tying the joke together, while the toy in the last panel looks so ripped up and trashed, yet still cute. How do you pull this stuff off? You’re the goddess of webcomics!
Hehe! Although my cats love destroying their toys, I do wonder what they would do if ever faced with real, live prey. Being Sphynx (and thus hairless) they are indoor-only cats, so they’ve never encountered actual prey.
Hopefully Chloe and Bink will get a new Mr Pink for Christmas!
Our ferrets are professional toy killers. Small stuffed toys are not their thing, their favorite is plastic eggs with rattly things in it and crocheted cover. They are durable and can take a lickin’ when they shake them back and forth to “kill their prey”.
They usually prefer the bag to the toy that came in it, but they only last a hour…tops. Bags quickly get extra entrances added until they are all entrance.
Thanks guys! I deny any declarations of divinity, but thank you just the same, Johnny.
I also wonder what my cats would do with real prey. They’re mesmerized by squirrels, but when a squirrel once got right up against the security gate of an open window, they didn’t attack, just stared. Maybe it was too big for them. I’m guessing a mouse wouldn’t be so lucky?
Now I’m off to look up videos of ferrets and hairless cats playing. Plotting 2010 internet memes.
Um.. I know this is a Brig thing to notice, but is it just me or does Chloe’s necklace remind anyone else of a certain character from Total Recall. (That’s about the best way I can put it.) Sorry, just a random thought there. Squirrel!
Okay, back on topic! Lisa better get them a new Mr. Pink or I see many a busted keyboards and shredded mouse cables. Just saying.
Awesome comic yet again! thx Mary for brining a smile 3 days a week!
Is that a return of the pink thing from “Pandering?” Looks like Chloe and Bink have given him quite the rough time since his first appearance. Poor guy.
Over the last few years, my cat has caught several field mice, chipmonks, & the occasional baby field rabbit. Every time he would bring them to me and I would make him spit it out Tom & Jerry style and the critter in question would scamper away. I kinda wonder at times if my cat brings them to me to feel like he’s contributing to the pack. Providing meals for me as much as I provide for him. =)
The cats are still podcasting!
Bink (with mic): It's time for kitty tip number two here on the Two Blue Cats Cast!
Bink (drooling): While fighting a mob, you may sometimes find yourself overcome with the urge to leap on your prey, bat it around with your ferocious paws, and rip out its jugular vein with your teeth after it's sufficiently terrified.
Chloe: This is perfectly normal. But not the best in-game strategy.
Bink: When faced with this urge, we recommend backing away from the computer and playing with one of your favorite toys. We like Mr. Pink.
Chloe (holding up a dilapidated Mr. Pink): We need a new Mr. Pink.

Brig, your comment really gave me a chuckle.
And now I can never look at Chloe the same way again. *makes mental note to raise the necklace beads*
Gwen, yep, from “Pandering!” Also from “Confused Instincts.”
rob, that’s so funny. I’ve heard of outdoor cats doing that. I wonder if they don’t kill it because that privilege is part of their gift to you?
Thats a possibility, either way, I always end up giving him a big bowl of cat food for being the ferocious hunter. ^_^
Loving the cat/gaming humor!!
