Lisa (clasped hands, eyes closed): It reminds me that games are fun when you have to work at them, that you're rewarded when you solve the little puzzles they throw at you, that a sense of satisfaction comes with meeting challenges head on.
Bink (aside to Chloe): Is this going somewhere?
Lisa (deject, to cats): Furthermore, it has come to my attention that you resent me for utilizing your alt-leveling services.
Chloe (aside to Bink): Now she's starting to make sense.
Lisa (fired up): Thus, I've decided to earn my own way through WoW. Hand over that priest, kitties! I've got some, um, shadow-flaying spell thingies to cast.

I’m with the cats – this should be fun.
I just managed to get my priest to level 50 – will need to level her up some more after the newness of 3.3 wears off. 
trying to level my rogue and priest both are at level 78… i just don’t got the will the push it futher
That’s just “Gear Grinding Fear”, the fear that once you hit 80, all you have left to do is grind instances for tokens to buy the gear you need to get into better instances…
It’s easy… let go your fear… join us, it’s better this way…
Coincidentally I’m in the process of switching mains to my priest to give end-game PvE healing a try after my guild collapsed recently (i’ve always tanked on my warrior) doing some heavy facemelting to quest to lvl80. Shadow is so much more fun than I expected:
- never going oom so no downtime at all
- hardly ever using the same spell twice on the same mob
- always trying to find the best line of movement during instant casts
- ability choices based on quest objectives (do I let this mob tick dead from my DoTs while I loot this item from the ground) and damage vs mob HP (hey glyph of shadow procs, maybe i can burst the next mob down without applying DoTs at all before it wears of)
anyway, i’m really curious about that cupcake ^_^
Good for her, learning to play her toons! I hope she does well. (oh and stay away from Gearscore! )

Also, theres a difference between working for things in a Zelda game, and working for things in WoW. In Zelda, you use that item for a long, cherished time(sort of), in WoW, everything becomes obselete a few months later, so theres less to work for, or at least it takes a lot of work to get on the latest gear curb, only to be dropped back down next patch… Granted thats par for the course of an MMO, ignore my complaints and keep writing comics! And tell the cupcakes that Moople loves them, even if Lisa leaves them out. *hugs a cupcake*
We had a kid in my old guild who had somebody power level his mage… It was impressive, until we brought him into Kharazan and he didn’t know how to keep from breaking the Tank… after about the 4th time we wiped, we came to the conclusion that he might have wanted to know how his character works and why you shouldn’t blink into the next set of trash mobs while you’re still fighting the patrol.
Oh no! The cupcake had it’s feelings hurt? *stomach grumbles* Here lil cupcake, I’ll make all your worries go away. >}
As for Lisa… she should go hard core and just start over. This time as a female dwarf hunter. *nods*

I should really read the patch notes. I have a lvl 80 priest that I hardly ever use hehe /shame
