Outside of the general style (Salsa), the female gnome dance is still largely shrouded in mystery. I haven’t seen a reference that replicates the hip swipes. The male gnome is similar: you can find analogous styles but nothing concrete. Just an example of the unique place gnomes hold in WoW.

The thing about the BE dance is that it’s actually an amalgamation of Britney Spears’ dance moves from several of her different videos and songs. It would have been much cooler to string all those together, IMO, than just show the random white girl doing the BE dance sequence.
