So fun! I didn’t realize so many of the dances had concrete references like this. Love the male Belf one. It’s probably old news, but I never realized where it’s from. If you want a complete reference (including gnomes!!!), this movie isn’t as fun to watch, and the soundtrack has been disabled. But it has some pretty good guesses about the reference for every single dance. There’s also a wowwiki page on the dances, with references. If they haven’t made the goblin and worgen dances yet, I think they should go with Tink’s dance moves from Date My Avatar for one of the females.

One problem with this video. The the female nelf dance isn’t based off of that French singer. She took her dance from WoW =S

The thing about the BE dance is that it’s actually an amalgamation of Britney Spears’ dance moves from several of her different videos and songs. It would have been much cooler to string all those together, IMO, than just show the random white girl doing the BE dance sequence. :P

Outside of the general style (Salsa), the female gnome dance is still largely shrouded in mystery. I haven’t seen a reference that replicates the hip swipes. The male gnome is similar: you can find analogous styles but nothing concrete. Just an example of the unique place gnomes hold in WoW.
