Oh, that is so true. Not even out of level one, and the helicopter is my best friend so far. *sigh* I really want to get the “achievements” for creativity, and non-violence and such, but I think I’d rather go grind Wintersaber rep. Purple stripey cat, here I come!

I concur. The controls are like hitting my touchpad with a wet noodle – it feels stupid and has a tendency to end badly.
While Cthulhu is great, he can’t actually be tamed. Hence me spawning a dragon, throwing food at it until it falls asleep, then riding around, setting fire to everything, and then falling in the lava. Oh, that one level where’s you’re in a corridor and the starite is dangling over a lava pit at the end? I solved that one by tying it to a hippo, then throwing crap (literally) at the hippo until it got enraged at me, THEN setting the rope holding the Starite on fire and running like hell before despawning the hippo. It took 5 attempts to do without the hippo killing me – turns out lions, tigers, and even bears aren’t strong enough (Yes, I checked all 3) and Cthulhu and Dragons don’t fit. Also, they skipped out Yog-Soggoth. Bleh.
… although it was this comic that convinced me to buy it in the first place…
Oh man, that level took me forever. I ended up tying a rope to a man, then putting a ghost over the lava. The ghost scared the man into the tunnel, so when I tripped the wire the iceblock got pulled down the corridor instead of into the lava.
The ghost was my ultimate warrior, because he’s small enough to fit into tunnels, will attack anything that will attack him (so he doesn’t ~always~ work), and he just simply *cannot* die.
But yeah. I used the helicopter forever until my roommate showed me a better option: a pegasus mount.
