Ok, this may be a super newbie question, even though I love this comic and am here all the time, but….I thought this was about your life and your name is Mary, yet she is Lisa? I know I am missing something, so please forgive the silly question. I mean I do love this comic!

Yes, I’m Mary, and the character in the comic is Lisa. She is not me. But I can’t hide the fact that she’s loosely based on me and my life. Differences between Lisa and me, you ask? She raids more than I do and doesn’t have bangs. I’d like to think she’s more neurotic than I am, but who am I kidding.

@Drathar: Well even my cats are sentient, by definition, as are all animals. But yes, another important difference. Hitomi and Satra, as mischievous as they are, do not play WoW or travel to BlizzCon, or go with me to parties. Their loss.
