I guess I didn’t read all the patch notes after all. After taking the flight path to Wintergrasp to do the fishing daily yesterday, John told me I can just fly there now on my own mount. YES!!! This change makes traveling so much easier.
Anyone else have any pleasant 3.2 surprises?

If you begin to type someone’s name and only get about 2-3 letters, you get a dropdown list with names of people online in channels and/or people you’ve encountered. Helps loads when reporting or talking to people with special characters in their name.
Also, Turbo Charge roflcopter > every other mount.
Flying in wintergrasp with an engineer. Best thing? Mote extractor!
Also, the titanium rate’s a lot higher… mmm….
However, the best surprise was the mounting up speed. 1.5 seconds is amazing! I can barely get off the graphic for my dreadsteed sometimes!
For me, the most exciting changes were the new Drood models and the flying mounts for 60+ characters. My hunter alt loves the Flying Machine!
But the fun, unexpected bonuses were the moving of the shapeshift cost reduction out of the dumb Primal Tenacity talent and onto the King of the Jungle talent, and my teleporter doesn’t have to be equipped as a trinket anymore!
I can drop all of my totems at the same time now. If you don’t play a Shaman, let me tell you, this is about as good an upgrade to the class as you can get!
have to mine in groups now -.-
Last night i was doing it solo sundley 5 flying mount landed around me :*(
thouhg doing WG whit out lag is really sweet ;o
Potions FINALLY stack to 20….Oh Happy Day!!!
Nice to see another engineer, though personally I’m favoring the hippogryph mounts over the roflcopter, mostly due to noise pollution.
3.2 upside: bullets and arrows by the stack instead of the crate.
3.2 downside: potion injectors become even more marginal. One of their good points was that (unlike regular potions) they stacked to 20. Now, the only benefit is (again) to engineers.
3.2 bonus: Northrend Wormhole Generator! 4 hour cooldown. I was finishing up dailies in Sholazar while my group was trying to get the horde clear of the Ulduar stone. “No worries, be right there.”
This wasn’t mine, but a guidie’s – he had 99 mounts for the last 2 months, I’d say. He was offering to pay for the time lost, he ran every dungeon that had mounts he didn’t, he offered to pay for 25 man 3D. Then 3.2 came out. Three days went by, and he was still QQ’ing the lack of the 100th mount when my boyfriend said to him, “Did you get the new tiger from Darnassus?”
Less than 1g later, he had his 100th mount, and then his 101st. He still feels really silly that he didn’t know about it sooner and it took him that long to get it after the patch.
