I finally had a chance to play 3.2 today before getting back to work on comics, and I went straight for the orphan quest line to get the pet. After brief inward reflection, I decided to go with the Wolvar pet. I figure I’ve done enough for the oracles, seeing as I got my rep up with them so I can buy the weekly egg. And I had to make up for all the times I bagged helpless wolvar pups for the Planning for the Future Tuskarr daily quest. Sure, the old walrus pretended to be saving them, but I know that as soon as I turned them over they slow roasted and ate the little tikes. Don’t tell my new orphan companion though please.
We did the Wolvar quest too, especially since it is the closest pet we can get to a ferret, at least till we get our skunk. So many times when we were doing Planning for the Future I said that I wondered if he would notice the bag being one wolvar short.
