I have a problem with buying too many DS games and then not playing them all. Currently still working on Professor Layton.
EDIT: Wow, a lot of people find this site for the first time through this post. Hi there. If you’re wondering what the heck this is, it’s a web comic about a gamer girl and her friends and cats. (And this is the blog part underneath it.) You can see new comics M-W-F on the home page and start going through the archives there. You might also find the about page useful.

Can’t get enough of the Doctor Mario game in Brain Age 2
well, all you need to do is get brain age the frist and get better at it
so then you will win brain age to
You need to add Advance Wars to that.
Oh, and Pokemon.
Second Vote on the Advance Wars.
And no Elite Beat Agents or Osu! ? Tsk tsk.
This is redeemable partially by the ownership of both Phoenix Wright and Nintentdogs.
I kind of can’t stand Nintendogs. I try to get back into it every now and then but…. I think it just isn’t for me. Too boring.
I was hooked on the gameboy advance version of Advance Wars. Love it. BF John has the Ds version, so I’ll probably play his if there’s a free slot on it….
I will never get the Pokemon games. John once asked me, with his hands behind his back, if I prefered diamonds or pearls. When I answered pearls, he handed me a copy of Pokemon Pearl, keeping the Diamond one for himself, all excited that we could play together. Now I may not be the girliest girl girl, but dammit, I’m still mad at him for tricking me into thinking he was giving me some awesome jewelry. They may be great games, but his punishment is that I will never play them with him.
I love the little that I’ve played of Professor Layton. But it always makes me feel kinda dumb, cuz sometimes I trick myself into thinking the puzzles are more complicated than they are and I almost always pick the wrong answer.
Your Pokemon story is priceless.
If you’re liking the puzzle-y-ness of “Professor Layton,” I’d also highly recommend a game that came out a few years ago called “Hotel Dusk.” It’s a mystery/puzzle game that presents you with some of the most innovative uses of the DS interface that I’ve yet to see. Great story, too; it’s the best DS game nobody knows about. It retails for about $20 nowadays.
Sweatyapple, I know what you mean. There are lot of puzzles like that.
Thanks for the suggestion. I’ve heard of Hotel Dusk before, and I want to try it. Ironically one of the games not pictured is one of the few DS games I’ve played to completion, Trace Memory. It’s John’s. I think it’s by the Hotel Dusk people?
