    Hi Mary!

    Funny, that was my biggest complaint about the movie too. Since I don’t really care about Star Trek and all the little “in-joke” the layer of lighting soot in every shot became the central focus of each scene.

    It did start out very well, though.

    It’s wierd – I really didn’t notice the lens flare at all, but it was the first thing my wife mentioned after it was over.

    I’m hoping the flimsiness of the plot was due to all the tasks that had to be accomplished by the end of the movie. I was willing to give all the coincidences and leaps of faith a pass on that basis. Still, the cast was great and the future looks bright.

    rofl Spock Ears! or stubby blood-elf? the the shades make them fit in at any SiFi convention for sure xD
