Haha! I’ve had something like that happen to me a few times. My cats love to climb from my lap onto my keyboard right in the middle of things.
Similar story – my dog jumped up and put his head in my lap in the middle of Naxx. And hit the standby hotkey on my keyboard.
Did I mention I’m my guild’s MH?
It was a wipe.

my cat did that once during Archimonde in MH (at the time when he was still hard
), causing the whole raid to wipe… i told the truth on vent and sad “it was the cats fault… luckily for me, the raidleader was a hunter, and guess what kinda pet he had… =P
I’m suddenly reminded of a tagline I saw years ago…
“Typos? Blame my cat.”
I can totally relate to this, as my cat has climbed up onto my keyboard in the middle of a chat session and suddenly, the chat was like this:
Keyra: So, it’s been a long day and I need to go to;l;akjkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
So far, it’s never happened during WoW (fingers, toes, eyes, nostrils crossed)

Great! Word of warning- never, ever try to kill bugs while in the middle of a difficult fight (or any other time!), as you’ll probably end up mashing all the keys and suddenly, instead of hiding behind cover and taking potshots at whatever it is you’re trying to kill, you find yourself right in the middle of a horde of bad guys trying to kill you.
The general terms of this comment should tip you off to the fact that yes, I have done this more than once in different games!!
I can’t even begin to explain how funny this is to me. Every frame makes me LOL
You think that’s bad? Try having dogs and a Ferret.
I have one dog, one cat, previously two parakeets and I did (briefly) consider getting a ferret (and were it not for the fact that the ferret, food, bedding, plus the oversized “habitrail” would have run me upwards of $250.00, I’d have one right now) and I must say that a dog who likes the cat and a cat who pretends to hate the dog when I’m around (I’ve caught them playing until the cat saw me, suddenly turned and hissed at the dog and swiped at her, leaving the dog puzzled and somewhat hurt, and then casually sauntered away) are more than enough!
Heh, i once housesitted two kittens for my dad’s friends…they slept in the bathroom sink together instead of in there bed. but yeah, they liked the keyboard…but not as much as they liked chasing the wow cursor on my screen.
Love the comic, although I have this weird tendancy to support geek/nerd girls I don’t know. Probably because they’re the sanest people I meet.
My cat is the same, only he’ll crawl on my keyboard when I’m AFK and I end up dead in the middle of a pack of creeps X_X
I have 2 cats and a small dog that thinks he is a cat. I play wow sitting in bed in the evenings. More then once they have all wanted to lay on my chest or the keyboard while i am helping heal in a dungeon. So far everyone has not died yet but came close. They have killed just me on a quest or two though. Great comic!

try the evil psyco kitty who will sit there purring and loving one moment when your doing the crowd controll ice mage thing and attacking the hand that is on the mouse causeing you instead of frost nova useing Ice block. or worse yet you stop to type and she SITS ON THE MOUSE AND REFUSES TO MOVE! EVIL KITTY. but i love her

My cat has occasionally clawed at my arm while playing before. Fortunately he knows better than to go for my keyboard — he knows he’d get an angry throw if he tried, and my small, cluttered computer desk has no room for him to jump up anyway.
We named our kittten arthas because he is a raid killer. he’s turned off my tower, spilled drinks on my keyboard and once attacked the top of my head causing me to yowl into vent, much to the amusement of my guildies..
My cat tries to help out by beating up the monitor.
